Better Futures is a new service and practice model in Victoria, designed to improve outcomes for young people up to the age of 21 who are transitioning from out of home care to supported independence. It enables young people to have an active voice in decisions about their future and guides their transition to adulthood and independent living across a range of life areas.

Child Information Sharing (CISS) Decision Tool

The VACYPA CISS Decision Tool is an app which will help our member ACCO Child & Family Service teams make safe and efficient decisions about sharing information under the Child Information Sharing Scheme. The Tool was developed in partnership with the University of Melbourne Law School, Law Apps team using Neota Logic software. We also gratefully acknowledge the valuable assistance of our member ACCOs, particularly Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative in providing feedback on the Tool. The Tool is stronger for their input.
